Transportation
As a woman without a car, daily life with MOMO was complicated. Whatever the weather, I would carry MOMO and a good-sized backpack. I became an enormous and complicated package with only one free arm .Riding the city bus, unreliable even under the best of circumstances, became an anxiety-riddled event. Would the bus be too full? Would the rider charge me for MOMO? Would some passenger turn the bus ride into a nightmare ride full of ridicule? Could I manage my groceries and MOMO? Could I remain graceful as I apologized for her flapping arms and hard-to-control legs?
